Pro-Abortion Advocate Debunks His Own Argument During Podcast Discussion

video from podcaster Tim Pool has been circulating on the internet after a well-known pro-choicer from a socialist YouTube channel debunked his own argument in a conversation about abortion.

Pool hosted Lance, a personality from a popular YouTube channel called “The Serfs.” When they reached the topic of abortion, Lance claimed that a woman should have “the choice” and “ultimate authority over what happens to her body.”

Pool responded by asking Lance if he believes a woman should be allowed to use meth while pregnant.

“Uh, I think if someone is doing meth while they’re pregnant, that it is completely acceptable for something like [child services] .…” said Lance.

“It’s her body, though…If she wants to do meth, what’s the big deal?” Pool replied, pointing out the flaw in his argument.

“Uh, the big deal is that it’s – she’s intentionally trying to kill a child,” Lance said.

After a short moment of silence, Pool said, “Hold on there a minute,” and Lance immediately recognized the unrecoverable error he had made in admitting that the unborn are fully human.

Some on the left have become so accustomed to simply espousing leftist talking points that they’ve failed to logically reason through their own positions.

Conversations such as this are crucial for the defense of the preborn. When faced with the brutal facts about abortion and forced to follow the logical progression of the pro-choice/pro-abortion position, many so-called “pro-choicers” would likely recognize similar flaws in their own viewpoints.

WI Supreme Court Takes Religious Liberty Case

On Tuesday, the Wisconsin Supreme Court agreed to hear a case about religious freedom. A Wisconsin-based Catholic charity, created and operated by a Catholic diocese, was told it was not eligible for legal benefits reserved for organizations operated primarily for religious purposes.

Last year, a Wisconsin appellate court ruled that the nonprofit is not operated primarily for religious purposes because proselytizing is not a primary focus. Because of this ruling, the charity is forced to contribute money to the state’s unemployment system.

Catholic Charities Bureau is challenging that claim that charitable functions are not primarily religious, noting that caring for those in need is central to the Catholic faith. The charity’s lawyers also warn that if decided wrongly, the case could set a dangerous precedent that could force organizations to violate their religious beliefs.

Wisconsin Family Council was part of a brief urging the high court to take this case and are pleased they have done so. If the state can decide a Catholic charity is not “religious,” then it could certainly decide that, say, Christian schools, whose primary focus is education, not proselytizing, are not religious. That would be true even for schools that operate under the auspices of a church.

WFC will join a friend-of-the-court brief in support of Catholic Charities’ position as this case progresses through the Wisconsin Supreme Court. The state should not be deciding what is “religious” and what is not for a religious organization; that decision should be up to the religious organization—as guaranteed by the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution and Article I, Section 18 of our Wisconsin Constitution.

Department of Homeland Security Targets Pro-lifers

The Biden administration is already waging a war on the unborn and pro-lifers, but now it has gone a step further. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is engaging in egregious viewpoint discrimination, calling pro-lifers “radicalized suspects.”

The America First Legal Foundation obtained documents revealing that the DHS Office of Terrorism and Violence Prevention is planning to create training videos that teach people how to identify threats and extremists. The “radicalization suspects” that the DHS is warning Americans about include suburban pro-life mothers.

The DHS uses a woman named Ann as an example of a radical extremist. Her profile reads, “While she has always been protective of her four kids, she has become increasingly more concerned about the welfare of other children, including the unborn.”

In other words, those who care for the unborn are “extremists” in the eyes of our federal government. In reality, it is the federal government that is extreme and radical when it comes to its treatment of the unborn. This horrifying viewpoint discrimination has no place in a free country.

“The priorities of this administration are incomprehensible,” writes Jody Hice for the Washington Stand. “But regardless of the actions they take, we must do all we can to stand in the gap to defend our rights and the principles of liberty. And, with hope and faith, we must look to the Lord and pray for Divine intervention. Although everything seems upside down these days, we know that God will have the final word.”

Help Donate Produce to Pregnancy Care Centers in WI
A friend of Wisconsin Family Council and Wisconsin Family Action wants to use the gifts God has given him to support Pregnancy Care Centers in our state. Anthony Horvath runs an organization called Dynamite Harvest, which grows healthy produce to donate to Pregnancy Care Centers who will then make the produce available to their clients at no cost.We think Anthony’s idea is a great way to minister to those who come through the doors of these incredible centers. The reality is, Anthony needs some financial help in order to make the vegetables and fruits available to the centers. He already has three centers he has committed to and others are asking for the produce. He wants to add more centers, but needs some help to do that.

If you are interested in helping Anthony provide food to the centers who are in turn helping women and men in crisis pregnancies, check out this site: GiveSendGo – Donate Produce to Crisis Pregnancy Centers in Wis: The #1 Free Christian Fundraising Site.
